2014 PNKF Iaido Seminar & TournamentThe Pacific Northwest Kendo Federation will be hosting an Iaido seminar September 26th through the 29th (Fri – Mon). The seminar will feature Noguchi Hideo Sensei 8th Dan Iaido from Japan as well as other instructors visiting from Japan. We will also have Jodo instruction Friday evening, and an additional Iaido training Monday morning this year. Visiting Instructors: Kenyu – June/July 2014

PNKF Shinkyu Shinsa (Examination) Information for August 9, 2014Location: Kent Commons Recreation Center, 525 Fourth Avenue North, Kent, WA Iaido: The Iaido Shinkyu Shinsa and Seminar for 3 Dan and below will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014, 9:00am-12:00pm. You should plan to attend entire time if taking Iaido exam. Kendo: The Kendo Shinkyu Shinsa, for 3 Dan and below, will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014. Registration/Check in will begin at 11:30am in the hallway. All participants should be changed and ready to begin at 12:30pm sharp. Application Deadline: July 26, 2014 Volunteers are needed. Please let David Yotsuuye know if you can help and what job you can help with. The member resources page has relevant documents for the shinsa.
